The NEXCAP® XLS RFID cabinet is built to secure and track your large, high-value equipment: measuring instruments, test equipment, laptops and IT hardware, toolboxes and mission-critical assets. Quick to set up, it answers the key question for any industrial site: who took which piece of equipment, and when?

Each item is identified by a universal UHF RFID tag that works on both metal and non-metal surfaces. Every time the doors close, the cabinet automatically inventories its contents and syncs the data in real time.

A Solution You Install Yourself

The XLS is designed for 100% self-installation. Your cabinet ships with three shelves, a 4G/5G connectivity module, a USB RFID reader and 65 universal RFID tags. Tag your equipment, register it on the web platform, put it on the shelves, and your cabinet is up and running. Step-by-step documentation, video tutorials and remote support guide you along the way. No on-site visit, no server to install, no IT project to launch.

Easy to Use, Every Day

Users scan their badge, open the cabinet, check equipment out or back in, and close the doors. An LED indicator shows the cabinet status at a glance: green when everything is in place, red with an audible alarm when something needs attention.

Managers monitor everything from the cloud platform on a computer, tablet or smartphone: live inventory, full check-out and check-in history, and alerts for missing items or overdue equipment. The cabinet connects via 4G/5G, Ethernet or Wi-Fi.

Badge Access Control: Only authorized users can open the XLS cabinet. Users scan their RFID badge, the doors unlock, they take or return equipment, then close the cabinet. A secure locking system prevents any manual opening of the doors. Access rights are easily managed from the web platform, with unlimited users.
Automatic Inventory in 10 Seconds: As soon as the doors close, the cabinet identifies every item inside in 10 seconds using UHF RFID technology. Every check-out and check-in is logged and time-stamped, so you always know who took which item, and when. An LED indicator shows the cabinet status in real time: green when complete, red with an audible alarm when something is wrong.
Real-Time Alerts: The platform instantly flags situations that need action: missing equipment, overdue check-outs, or items returned to the wrong cabinet. You step in at the right time, before equipment goes missing.
Remote Monitoring: From the cloud platform, accessible on a computer, tablet or smartphone, you can view live inventory, full movement history and tracking dashboards. Data syncs continuously via 4G/5G, Ethernet or Wi-Fi, wherever you are.
